چکیده

ABSTRACT Banana orchards in arid and semiarid regions require the use of irrigation. However, presence high concentration salts water can impair development plants, requiring evaluation new technologies to mitigate effects stress. The objective this study was evaluate gas exchange leaf area banana seedlings cultivar Prata Catarina inoculated with strains Bacillus spp. under different electrical conductivities irrigation water. experiment carried out a greenhouse at Embrapa Tropical Agroindustry, Fortaleza, Ceará state, Brazil. design used randomized blocks, 4 × factorial scheme, first factor being inoculation treatments: without any application; slow-release fertilizer; Strain 186 109, second conductivity (0.5; 1.5; 3.0; 4.5 dS m-1), five blocks each plot consisting three plants. negatively influenced cv. vegetative stage, during 89 days cultivation. 109 did not improve plants salinity conditions.

Antioxidant response of cowpea co-inoculated with plant growth-promoting bacteria under salt stress.

Soil salinity is an important abiotic stress worldwide, and salt-induced oxidative stress can have detrimental effects on the biological nitrogen fixation. We hypothesized that co-inoculation of cowpea plants with Bradyrhizobium and plant growth-promoting bacteria would minimize the deleterious effects of salt stress via the induction of enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidative protection. To ...

Effect of Co-Application of Auxin-Producing Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria and Tryptophan on Wheat Growth under Water Stress Conditions

Auxin produced by plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPR) in the wheat rhizosphere, can improve plant yield under water deficit stress condition. To investigate this issue, a completely randomized factorial design with three replications was conducted under greenhouse condition at the University of Maragheh, Eastern-Azarbayjan, Iran during 2019. Treatments were two types of growth-promoting bact...

بررسی تغییرات الگوی پروتئوم برگ کلزا تلقیح شده با باکتری Pseudomonas florescence FY32 تحت تنش شوری

Plant growth-promoting bacteria enhance plant performance under stressful conditions using various mechanisms. This study was aimed to investigate the effects of Pseudomonas florescence FY32 on growth characteristics and to identify proteins involved in plant-bacterium interaction under salt stress. The results indicated that under salt stress (150 and 300 mM NaCl), plants inoculated with bacte...

Plant growth promoting bacteria effects on growth, photosynthetic pigments and root nutrients uptake of Avena sativa L. under drought stress

Drought stress is one of the most important factors affecting plant growth. Plant growth under drought stress may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. This research was conducted as a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design. The first factor included the bio-fertilizer (A. vinelandii (A)), P. agglomerans+ P. ...

اثر تلقیح باکتری Pseudomonas flourescens FY32 بر برخی ویژگی‌های ارقام کلزا تحت تنش شوری در سیستم هیدروپونیک

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria are known as an alternative to chemical fertilizers, which are able to reduce the harmful effects of non-biological stresses such as salinity and increase soil fertility and crop production. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of inoculation of Pseudomonas fluorescens strain FY32 on a number of morphological characters in canola cultivars unde...
